FirstPort are no more - we've terminated their contract and they no longer manage our Estate
We now get bills from Philip Laney and Jolly on behalf of Diglis Water Estate Management Company.
A Private Company set up by Taylor Wimpey at the start of the Estate
Charges ALL Leaseholders and Freeholders for managing the COMMON services in the Estate - gardens, car parks etc.
Our Leases give us a Membership of Diglis Water Estate Management Company - and give us a say
We have added six new Directors from our Community
So WE now control Diglis Water Estate Management Company - Yippee...!
Mainstay was appointed by Taylor Wimpey at the start of the Estate - with SOLE rights to maintain EVERYTHING.

- .....then FirstPort was bought by a Hedge Fund
- .......next the Fund sold FirstPort to Emeria in France
- ...........confused or what ?
Mainstay/FirstPort had a MONOPOLY to charge us all in Diglis..
- they charged for maintaining your Block
- they charged for maintaining the Estate
- for some, they charged Ground Rent for themselves
- for others they just collected the Ground Rent for someone else
FirstPort cashed in - our costs were rising far above inflation with poor service, and we had no choice. Pay Up!
Some in Diglis - like Aston Court - got fed up with this, got the Right To Manage and replaced FirstPort - smart folks!
Now Millwright, Bevington, and Lockwheel have also ditched FirstPort!
The MONOPOLY has been broken ... we have CHOICES now.
And finally, DWEMC has now dumped FirstPort for the Estate work, and appointed Philip, Laney, and Jolly to work for us.
You bought a unit in Diglis Estate - you signed the legal documents....
There are three charges
If you bought a house, then you have only the Estate Charge to pay.
If you bought an Apartment - you pay all three.
What do these bills relate to...?
- The Ground Rent goes to Aviva or Taylor Wimpey - this is sent by Mainstay!
- If you're lucky, the Block Maintenance Charge go to your OWN Block Management Company
..........like Aston. Millwright, Bevington, and Lockwheel who gained the Right To Manage and replaced FirstPort with their own agent - If you're unlucky, your Unit Maintenance Charge goes to FirstPort - sadly yo'ure still stuck with them...
..........do yourselves a favour and get your Right To Manage and choose your own agent as Aston and others did! - You pay the Estate Maintenance Charge - this is invoiced by Philip, Laney, and Jolly now.

- We now pay PLJ for the maintenance of our Estate - not FirstPort
- We - the Leaseholders and Freeholders in Diglis - now control Diglis Water Estate Management Company
- Diglis Water Estate Management Company has awarded the contract to maintain our Estate to PLJ
...we control what gets done, and how much we pay. and ensure that we get value for our money.
Every Leaseholder and Freeholder in Diglis is a Member of Diglis Water Estate Management Company
This confers legal Rights to us all
- Diglis Water Estate Management Company will now have Meetings where we can all discuss how our Estate in managed
- We can change our Directors and our Managing Agent.
